A child actor who spent his twenties working for an ad agency, Brett Heard then became a full time actor, booked over 100 TV commercials, appeared in Hollywood Feature Films, movies of the week and numerous television series. Shifting his focus to the other side of the camera, Brett spent several years being hired by ALL the commercial casting agencies to direct casting sessions for FADE TO BLACK, GLORIA MANN, BRIAN LEVY, JAN STEPHOFF, POWERHOUSE and others.
Brett is currently both a Casting Director in Toronto and is also a partner in a Production Company with several projects for film and television as well as directing and producing commercial work for ad agencies, For over five years this class has been offered in Toronto to newbie's and veterans alike, resulting in dramatic success stories and rave reviews.

The Audition Workshop & Acting Workshop with Toronto Casting Director Brett Heard is a fun, interactive class that will assist talent (and parents!) learn what the business is all about, how to eliminate nerves, how to relate to those in the audition room and how to improve your performance!
Workshop will include;
- Covering the terminology of the audition and what is expected
- How to conduct yourself in the audition room
- Discussing the big picture and what it really means
- Briefing on the business and Q&A with parents
- Fun improv games that focus on listening and staying in character
- Reading audition scripts
